Are you planning to sell your handmade products at a craft show? There are certain items that you should consider bringing with you to ensure a successful and stress-free experience!
1. Your Products (of course!)
The most important item to bring to a craft show is, of course, your products! Make sure you have plenty of inventory and consider getting bins for easy transportation. Stay tuned because next week we’ll be going over exactly what sells best!
2. Displays
Your products won’t sell themselves, so you need to display them attractively to draw in customers. The bare minimum display materials would be a table, tablecloth, and a chair. If it’s an outdoor market, you NEED a canopy and weights, even if it’s not required. I highly recommend it.

3. Marketing Materials
Bring business cards! You’ll be handing these out like candy to potential customers, so make sure you have plenty of them. This is a great opportunity to showcase your branding and provide contact information.
4. Cash Box or Cash Bag
Don’t forget about the money! Bring a cash box or cash bag with bills for change. I also highly recommend bringing extra change, just in case.
5. Card Reader
In addition to cash, make sure you have a card reader. Many customers prefer to pay with credit or debit cards, so you don’t want to miss out on sales.

6. Pricing Tags & supplies
Make sure all of your products have clear price tags. I always bring my extra tagging supplies to every market.

7. Signage
Professional signage can make a big difference in attracting customers. Make sure you have signs that showcase your brand and pricing information.
8. Packing Materials for Customers
Don’t forget about the packing materials for customers. Bring bags and tissue paper to make the buying experience more enjoyable.
BONUS: Comfy Shoes and Clothing!
Craft shows can be long and tiring, so make sure you’re comfortable. Wear comfy shoes and clothing that you can move around in!
BONUS: Snacks and Water!
Craft shows can be busy, and you may not have time to grab food or water. Bring some snacks and water to keep you fueled throughout the day!
