I know the idea of setting up your first craft show is overwhelming, but I promise you displays are a lot easier than they seem. In this post, I’m going to tell you EVERY display item you need for your first craft show, so you can stand out & make more sales at your first show!
You can watch the youtube video here:
Tables
6 ft tables are the industry standard! I like these ones because they fold up, & have handles for easy transportation!
Tablecloths
Table cloths are a must in order to appear professional & draw in customers! I love my spandex, over the leg table clothes from Amazon. They are fast & easy to set up, and look sleek & professional!
chair
You’ll be sitting a lot! Get a chair that’s comfortable, but easy to transport! I love my chair from Walmart. It’s lightweight and easy to transport, & I crocheted a cushion to make it super comfortable!
Props/decor
This could be anything from plants, floral, and cute signs, to seasonal decor such as pumpkins or Christmas lights! These are meant to enhance your booth & draw more people in. My favorite way to decorate is with fake plants! They make my booth feel more cohesive & full!
RISERS & SHELVES
Get ready because I’m about to give you my #1 display tip: CREATE VERTICAL INTEREST! If they can’t see what you have to offer, they won’t stop to buy it! Here are a couple of my favorite displays for vertical interest:
Mug Tree from Amazon – you can hang things like baby booties, keychains, & scrunchies!
Cupcake Stand from Amazon – use it to display pumpkins, scrunchies, or any small item you have in different colors & sizes 🙂
Shelves from Amazon – I use these to display my pumpkins & hang my scarfs! They collapse down & are super light for transporting. & really reasonably priced!
Mirror
Customers love to visualize themselves wearing your items! Prop up a small mirror & give them the opportunity to try on your products!
Larger Sign/ Professional Banner
Some markets require professional signage so I recommend starting with a banner! I got mine off of Staples! It was pretty affordable, and has been holding up & working great for me over the years.
You can also get a smaller sign like this one I have from Hobby Lobby (here’s a similar one from Amazon)! Customize it for your business name & social handles with a chalk pen!
