Thank you for purchasing the velvet beanie pattern! Here are some common questions I’ve been getting & the answers to them!
Q: Is a HDC SL ST the same as a HDC?
A: No, the HDC SL ST is different than a HDC stitch. I will link a great tutorial of the stitch!
Q: Is the pattern worked in the back loop only or both loops?
A: This pattern is worked in both loops!
Q: How do I close the top of my beanie?
A: Using a tapestry needle, work through every other row around the top. You may need to go back through again to cinch the top completely closed!
Q: How do I seam the side?
A: I seam the sides with a SL ST. There will be a slightly visible seam but I always put that seam in the back! You can join using an invisible seam method if you prefer.
